10-Year Warranty

In the software industry, warranties are rare. Most companies deliver a project, hand it over, and move on. If something breaks six months later, you're on your own — or paying again to fix what should have worked in the first place. We think that's wrong.

A warranty signals confidence. It tells you that the people who built your software stand behind their work — not just for a few weeks, but for years. It means you're not buying a one-time deliverable; you're investing in something that's built to last.

Our Promise

Effective January 1, 2026, Sulata offers a 10-year warranty on eligible PHP development projects. That's a full decade of coverage against programming errors — at no additional cost.

If a bug or programming error is discovered in the code we wrote, we will fix it. Simple as that. No back-and-forth, no finger-pointing, no surprise invoices.

What's Covered

  • Programming errors and bugs in code written by Sulata
  • Defects that cause the software to behave differently from the agreed specifications
  • Issues arising from coding mistakes, logic errors in implementation, or integration faults introduced by our team

What's Not Covered

  • Changes to business logic or requirements after project delivery
  • Development of additional modules, features, or enhancements
  • Issues caused by third-party software, hosting environments, or server changes outside our control
  • Problems resulting from modifications made by other developers or teams after handover
  • Security vulnerabilities introduced by outdated server software or PHP versions no longer maintained by the PHP community
  • Data loss or downtime caused by hosting provider failures, cyberattacks, or force majeure events

How to Claim Warranty

The 10-year warranty is included by default in all new quotations issued from January 1, 2026 onwards. You will see it mentioned in your project proposal or agreement.

If for any reason the warranty is not explicitly mentioned in your quotation, please ask for it before signing. We are happy to include it — just make sure it's part of your agreement so there's no ambiguity later.

To report an issue under warranty, simply email us at hi@sulata.com with a description of the problem. Our team will review and address it promptly.

Limitation of Liability

While we stand firmly behind our work, Sulata shall not be held liable or responsible for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from circumstances beyond the scope of this warranty. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities resulting from software issues that fall outside the covered items listed above.

The warranty is limited to fixing programming errors in the code we delivered. It does not extend to guaranteeing business outcomes, uptime of third-party services, or compatibility with future technologies not available at the time of development.
